Link Solutions Inc. is seeking aVMware Systems Administrator(Intermediate-Level)to join our team on Fort Huachuca located in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

As theVMware Systems Administrator, you will provide comprehensive technical support and system administration on the Fort Huachuca military installation. You will be part of a diverse team supporting a globally distributed information system, ensuring the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more secure operating systems. Your role will include additional responsibilities such as mission-critical support, infrastructure management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance system performance and security.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance within the VMware environment.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to hosted tenants.
• Design, plan, implement, and administer enterprise blade server and storage technologies in support of underlying virtualization infrastructure.
• Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.
• Install, configure, and integrate servers associated with a VMware virtual infrastructure.
• Performbackups, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for servers associated with a VMware virtual infrastructure.
• Build highly available server clusters in a vSphere environment.
• Build and configure virtual networks.
• Assist with the coordination and implementation of hardware maintenance, upgrades, repairs, or replacements supporting the virtualization infrastructure
• Provide advice and training to end-users.
• Administer enterprise VMware-based virtualization infrastructures covering vCenter ESXi environments version 6.0 and later.

• Hours: 10:00 p.m.– 8:30 a.m.
• US Citizen
• Active DoDSecurity Clearance
• IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher perDoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security CE, CCNA Security,GICSP,GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
• One (1 ) year of relevant experience or AAdegree inComputer Science, Information Systems, orrelated field with a comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.
• Experience with Cisco FlexPod, VMWare (or equivalent virtualization technologies), or Network Attached Storage systems.
• Current Computing Environment (CE) certification (required within 90 days of performance start date).
  
  

Preferred

• IAT Level III Certification equivalent or higher perDoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CASP , CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, etc.).
• Knowledgeable in creating a PPS (Ports, protocols, & services) request.
• Experience withnetwork installations and upgrades.
• Experience providing quality service and support for mission-critical systems and VIP end users.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
