Job Title: Jr Hardware Engineer
Location: Eden Prairie, MN (Onsite)
Experince: 4 Years
Must have Skills: sheet metal, DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, Work Instructions, Rate Routing generation, ECR, ECO's etc (windchill), 3D CAD(SolidWorks) and SAP.
Job Description:
- Daily fast response shopfloor meetings - participate / contribute
- Rate Routing generation
- Work instruction generation
- Doc control system support - ECR, ECO's etc (windchill)
- Working knowledge of APQP quality systems - PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, RCA, CAPA, Control plans etc
- Scope, design, document, deploy and validate new equipment / fixturing / assembly to support new products and improve legacy products (as required)
- Cross functional team (CFT) ME rep for existing & new products (providing DFM input as appropriate)
- SAP experience (highly desirable)
- 3D CAD software proficiency (Solidworks preferred)
- Safety systems familiarity - OSHA (LOTO etc)
Legacy Equipment Set (previous exposure desirable):
- Wire cutting / stripping
- Terminal installation
- Injection molding (Nylon, Vinyl, Silicone)
- Cable harness electrical testing - continuity
- Spiral tape wrapping
- Soldering / Brazing - paste /wire
- Adhesive / Fluid / Solder Paste dispensing
- Spot Welding
- Ultrasonic Welding
- SMART Pick Bins
- Semi-automated (PLC Controlled) assembly equipment
- Elect torque drivers / controllers
- Leak testers
- Laser markers
- Label generation / printing (software)
