Job Summary
The Kitchen Dishwasher works in support of the kitchen management team to facilitate the completion of kitchen cleaning and performs a variety of other cleaning related tasks. The dishwasher is vital to the success of the kitchen and helps ensure an exceptional customer experience that supports our vision to be the first choice in food and convenience.
Principal Duties
- Correctly set up 3 compartment sink and dish area
- Correctly set up dish machine according to local and Federal Health regulations
- Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish area
- Maintain clean dish area and organize and return clean dishes to proper locations
- Empty trash containers regularly
- Break down and take out boxes regularly
- Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed
- Clean kitchen equipment and prep areas as directed
- Perform additional cleaning duties as requested
- May be required to help properly put up food delivery orders with direction from kitchen leadership
- Help with order fulfillment as directed
Basic qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be at least 16 years old to be considered for this position
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card, if directed
- Must be able to stand continuously throughout an 8 hour shift
- Comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving quickly
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
