Leo Tech LLC is a certified woman-owned small business started in 2015 by Melody Vansandt. She has over 24 years of experience working as a Defense Contractor, Consultant and has held positions as Director of Pricing, Contracts Manager, Program Manager, and EVM Manager.

After decades of hard work in contracting and program management, she realized she wanted to form a company that genuinely cared for its customers and employees. Her goal since then has been to treat her customers and employees the way she would want to be treated. She has learned what does and doesn't work through personal experience, and she never wants to be a President / CEO who doesn't know her people.

All full-time employees also received Eleven paid Government holidays per year. Employees accrue 80 hours of vacation a year and can accrue up to 32 hours of sick time each year.

We are currently seeking the following positions :

  • CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD

JOB TITLE : CONTRACT MANAGER

JOB PURPOSE :

Plan, direct, or coordinate transportation, storage, or distribution activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable government laws or regulations. Includes logistics managers.

Responsible for daily oversight of Contractor employees and services

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • shall be available during normal duty hours to meet with the COR to discuss problem areas .
  • participate in quality improvement initiatives, meetings, training, etc., as required
  • responsible for the identification and utilization of the best available resources to complete each task
  • Ensure all contract personnel respond to customers in a timely, professional and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate site visitor request authorizations through the GPM or COR. Provide escort for those visitors as necessary
  • implement the following logistics programs; Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI), Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Control, Tool and Equipment
  • Ensure storage, maintenance and administrative facilities are clean and organized and facility maintenance / repair requirements are submitted to Government Facility
  • Keep Facility Managers appraised of any appointments, maintenance or repairs completed by Civil Engineering (CE) or CE Contractors
  • Supervise employees.
  • Implement organizational process or policy changes.
  • Develop safety standards, policies, or procedures.
  • Inspect condition or functioning of facilities or equipment.
  • Purchase materials, equipment, or other resources.
  • Confer with organizational members to accomplish work activities.
  • Analyze data to inform operational decisions or activities.
  • Implement transportation changes to reduce environmental impact.
  • Resolve customer complaints or problems.
  • Develop emergency response plans or procedures.
  • Document organizational or operational procedures.
  • Monitor activities of individuals to ensure safety or compliance with rules.
  • Analyze financial records to improve efficiency.
  • Monitor inventories of products or materials.
  • Monitor organizational procedures to ensure proper functioning.
  • Advise others on business or operational matters.
  • Monitor organizational compliance with regulations.
  • Analyze financial records to improve budgeting or planning.
  • Conduct employee training programs.
  • Hire personnel.
  • Interview employees, customers, or others to collect information.
  • Maintain operational records.
  • Examine financial records to ensure compliance with policies or regulations.
  • Monitor performance of organizational members or partners.
  • Analyze forecasting data to improve business decisions.
  • Develop operating strategies, plans, or procedures.
  • Direct organizational operations, projects, or services.
  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of work in customer service
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of supervisory experience
  • must be able to communicate efficiently and accurately using Air Force (AF) / Space
  • Force (SF) terminology and be familiar with Department of Defense (DoD) documents and DoD technical terms, and the ability to communicate those items with non-technical personnel.
  • responsible for the management of cost, schedule, resources, and performance.
  • Experienced in the use and understanding of computer systems with intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite with advanced proficiency in Excel and exposure to automated
  • accounting systems and various software programs.
  • able to obtain a secret security clearance
  • EDUCATION :

  • High School Diploma or GED (Associate's Degree preferred)
  • EXPERIENCE :

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of work in customer service
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of supervisory experience

Before an alcohol or drug test is administered, the applicant must sign a Leo Tech, LLC consent form authorizing the test and permitting the release of test results to the Medical Review Officer (MRO) and the designated Human Resources Representative. Failure to sign the release or cooperate in test procedures shall be deemed a withdrawal of the employment application.
