JOB TITLE :

MATERIAL HANDLER LABORER

JOB PURPOSE :

This person will perform physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise. Duties involve one or more of the following : manually loading or unloading freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices; unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations; or transporting goods by hand truck, cart, or wheelbarrow. Excluded from this definition are workers whose primary function involves : (a). Participating directly in producing goods (e.g., moving items from one production station to another or placing them on or removing them from the production process); (b). Stocking merchandise for sale; (c). Counting or routing merchandise; (d). Operating a crane or heavy-duty motorized vehicle such as a forklift or truck; (e). Loading and unloading ships (alongshore workers); (f). Traveling on trucks beyond the establishment's location to load or unload merchandise.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Must have certifications / licenses as well as the capability to work with the following operations and systems :

Understand filing systems, electronic filing, creating / utilizing word documents and excel spreadsheets,

Training is required for personnel identified by the Contractor as a Unit Records Professional.

Failure to sign the release or cooperate in test procedures shall be deemed a withdrawal of the employment application.
