This Position:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Adminstrator or organize and lead our adminstration department. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and possess excellent communication and computer skills. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting our staff in their daily activities.
The position is ideal for someone who wants some diversity in their workday and enjoys experiencing new things every day. Being able to learn to use new software packages and experience with Microsoft/Google Office is a must.
You will be performing traditional Office Manager/Office administrator tasks. You will be using the company's manufacturing and inventory management software (Note: Software is called Order Time. We do not expect you to have experience with this software) to assist with inventory management and other production and sales related activities including processing work orders, sales orders, puchase orders and receivers and inventory related tasks.
This canidate is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the LeoDaniels company. This employee enables the company and each team member to work in the most effective way possible. Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Screen and respond to calls, emails, and routine letters promptly; direct inquiries to the appropriate person; ensure that messages get delivered to the appropriate party
- Write and distribute routine correspondence and reports; compile data and prepare reports from meetings
- Develop and implement office procedures
- Track and purchase supplies for the office
- Handle shipping and receiving of merchandise
- Ship orders and process returns
- Upload images and data to our inventory management software and google drive
- Onboarding support
- Proofread and edit documents to ensure proper spelling and grammar as well as compliance with company policy; recommend revisions as needed
- Research and/or edit and/or compile content for website and inventory as needed
- Fulfill other administrative duties as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude at all times
- Trustworthy, able to respect confidentiality
- Capable of multitasking; strong time management skills
- Detail-oriented
- Proficient with computers, especially in MS Office and Google Office, Excel/Google Sheets
- Ability to handle customer service
- The ability to prioritize workload and manage several projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
