Pay Range: $22.00-27.00 (based upon experience)
Requirements:
- 2 years of veterinary technician experience is required
- Avimark knowledge preferred, not required
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Knowledge of Idexx equipment preferred, not required
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Understands the importance of client education
- Positive and supportive team-player
- able to multi-task proficiently and professionally
- Willing to continue their education
- Must be able to work some weekends and evenings/ rotating schedule
- A team member seeking longevity
- No weekends
Leominster Animal Hospital is actively seeking a full-time experienced veterinary technician. The ideal candidate will be confident working with the veterinarian, other technicians and customer service staff, be comfortable rooming patients, assisting in surgery, surgical recovery, have experience with proper animal handling and restraint. They will have knowledge of x-ray and positioning, drawing blood and running bloodwork using Idexx equipment and other in-house laboratory equipment, understands the importance of client education, is a positive and supportive team player, and strive to continue to increase their knowledge in the veterinary industry.
