Keep the Director of Maintenance informed of HVAC or maintenance issues, repair strategies, related cost and prioritization of project scheduling. Assist the Director of Maintenance with review of plans and specifications of building projects. Oversee the bidding or negotiating of maintenance projects and change orders. Direct the day to day operations of LCS assigned maintenance personnel, vendors and contractors. Responsible for evaluating assigned staff in terms of their performance, responsibilities and productivity in achieving the District's goals and objectives. Manage assigned projects, optimizing safety and productivity in a timely and professional manner. Monitor the progress of various aspects of maintenance projects in accordance with SREF regulations. Implement Disaster Recovery Plans with assigned teams by accessing damage, implement clean-up and schools/facilities repairs. Coordinates with accounting personnel regarding work completion and authorization for payment. Interact with District staff, maintenance personnel, school administrators, other school personnel, architects, engineers, managers, supervisors, contractors and vendors to design, develop, exchange information and resolve issues. Receive after hour calls related to HVAC and after hours scheduling of HVAC. Maintain expertise in assigned areas to fulfill projects goals and objectives. Represent consistently the District in a positive and professional manner. Provide practical input for cooperative planning with other departments.
