Synergy Mental Health and Wellness Integrated (SMHWI) is a high-end mental health clinic providing face-to-face and telepsychiatry services in Arizona and Texas. We strive to deliver exceptional healthcare and customer service in a professional, personalized, warm, and friendly environment.
We are seeking a motivated Psychiatrist to join our team at our new location in Rockwall, Texas, who will provide supervision and guidance to Advanced Practice Providers and serve as a clinical escalation point for APPs and other medical staff within the practice.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric supervision and administrative direction to clinical and support staff, including advanced practice practitioners.
- Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing support for individuals with mental health conditions.
- Create, communicate, and carry out treatment plans with patients.
- Document patient care to support professional billing for services.
- Interpret test results and provide feedback to patients.
- Educate and counsel patients regarding medication compliance.
- Prescribe medications when clinically necessary.
- Communicate with patients regarding diagnosis and treatment plan.
- Maintain required licensure, certifications, and continuing education credits.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas or Arizona.
- Unrestricted DEA license in the state of practice.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist.
- Eligible for credentialing with major insurance plans and Medicare.
- Excellent communication, patient relations, time management skills, and safety awareness.
- Computer literacy and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
