What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterilization Technician position at Leon Orthodontics?
We are looking for a self-motivated team member to join our practice. The dental sterilization technician is part of the clinical team and is responsible for the disinfection and preparation of the operatory rooms and sterilization of instruments.
Qualifications and skills:
- Self-Motivated and Independent
- MUST HAVE a customer focused attitude
- MUST HAVE been working for at least 1 year in a previous job
- Detail oriented
- Dental experience would be beneficial but we are willing to train
Full-time and Part-time options available, Monday-Thursday (24-40 hours guaranteed).

Responsibilities
- Ensure all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained according to established protocols.
- Assist in chairside procedures by preparing necessary instruments and materials.
- Utilize dental terminology accurately while communicating with team members and patients.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment usage.
- Stay informed about current practices in orthodontics and related fields.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
