The IT Business Analyst (Hybrid / on site - Irvine) serves as a pivotal role within the organization, ensuring that projects are delivered successfully by aligning business needs with technical solutions. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs, objectives, and desired outcomes by conducting and brainstorming sessions to extract requirements effectively.
- Evaluate gathered requirements for feasibility, relevance, and impact on the project and work closely with technical teams to ensure the proposed solutions align with business needs.
- Create clear and concise business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), use cases, and user stories.
- Develop process flow diagrams, wireframes, and mock-ups to illustrate requirements visually.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and methodologies related to requirements gathering and documentation to support continuous improvement.
- Assist in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Highlight / identify gaps in existing functionality and review requirements with stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive ROI analysis and presentations, outlining the financial benefits, risks, and recommendations for decision-makers.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance documentation templates, and improve the overall efficiency of the BA function.
