Caretaker

Title: Caregiver for Parkinson's Patient - $20/hr Overnight Flat RateJob

Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to assist with the care of our mother, who has Parkinson's disease. She requires around-the-clock care, with support from her adult children, who are all medical professionals, and her spouse. This role involves both daytime and overnight shifts. Hours will vary weekly.

Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care, including toileting, bathing, and dressing.

Provide companionship and engage in light activities.

Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.

Monitor for safety and assist with mobility.

Perform light housekeeping, including changing sheets and laundry.

Provide support in case of accidents or medical emergencies.

Administer medications as instructed.

Qualifications:

Experience caring for individuals with Parkinson's or other neurological conditions preferred.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Reliable, patient, and compassionate.

Ability to lift, transfer, and support mobility.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

$20 per hour for daytime shifts, depending on experience

Flat overnight rate for staying in the home.

Schedule:

Flexible, with a rotating schedule based on family support.
