What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workers Compensation Paralegal position at Leonard Law Group?
The Worker’s Compensation Paralegal assists the attorney in day-to-day case management. The person in this role is self-motivated, task oriented, patient and has outstanding customer service skills. The ideal person will have at least 1 year of legal admin experience and will know ho to efficiently manage their time while balancing the needs of both clients and the attorney.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attorney calendar management
- Review and respond promptly to email communications
- Prepare, review and maintain legal documents
- Draft, review and file legal pleading and settlement contracts
- Order and follow up on medical records
- Prepare, Review, scan and file correspondence
- Following up on TTD, treatment, and medication approval
- Act as a liaison between the client and attorney
- Coordinate and schedule depositions including sending notices
- Compile bill reviews and send negotiation proposals to providers when necessary
- Conduct introductory calls to all new clients assigned
- Assist in setting up first time doctor appointments for new clients when necessary
- Effectively and efficiently complete all assignments, tasks and client calls.

Experience:
