As we experience rapid growth, we're seeking a visionary Director of IT & Business Intelligence to join our dynamic team. Based in Altoona, PA, this role is pivotal in steering our IT infrastructure and integrating innovative construction technologies. With over 2,000 completed projects across eight Mid-Atlantic states, your leadership will be key to our continued success.
Primary Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure Leadership: Manage IT infrastructure, including Cisco Meraki networks, Microsoft Hyper-V environments, and Windows Server administration (2008-2022).
- System Security and Performance: Ensure system security, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 Migration: Administer Microsoft Exchange 2013 and lead the transition to Microsoft 365.
- Software Management: Oversee Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Sage 300 Construction, Procore Construction Management Software, and ensure alignment with business processes.
- HR Software Oversight: Maintain Arcoro Construction HR Software for seamless HR operations.
- Team Management and Development: Lead and develop the IT staff, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Business Intelligence Initiatives: Implement strategies to convert data into actionable insights for decision-making.
- Strategic Planning and Collaboration: Align IT strategies with LSF’s goals and collaborate with various departments to meet technology needs.
- Cybersecurity and Compliance: Ensure adherence to cybersecurity and data privacy standards.
- Budget Management: Oversee the IT & Business Intelligence budget effectively.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on technology advancements in the construction sector.
Future Growth Responsibilities:
- Advanced Construction Technologies: Integrate technologies like fleet management systems, GPS, blockchain, 3D printing, autonomous vehicles, drones, robotics, and exoskeletons.
- Innovative Safety Tools: Explore wearable safety technologies and virtual reality applications, keeping abreast of emerging construction tech trends.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience in IT management or business systems.
- Experience: Proven IT management experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Hyper-V, Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Citrix, Sage 300, Procore, Arcoro, and Cisco Meraki.
- Cloud Migration: Experience leading transitions from on-premise to cloud-based solutions like Microsoft 365.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
