LSF is a well-established contractor based in Central PA, maintaining a strong and consistent workload by providing a wide range of services to our clients. To support our significant growth, we are searching for seasoned Superintendents with proven experience managing large commercial projects of $25 million and larger. Ideal candidates will have broad knowledge in all aspects of commercial construction, including site layout, concrete foundations and wall forming systems, cranes, MEPs, carpentry, building codes, inspection and testing requirements, and storm water management requirements.
Our Superintendents lead our team of self-performing staff and subcontractors while collaborating with the entire construction project team. Most importantly, we expect our Superintendents to represent LSF in a manner that upholds our reputation as the premier construction company in our region.
SUPERINTENDENT RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Project safety and layout
- Scheduling manpower, materials, and equipment
- Management of subcontractor labor
- Day-to-day job site documentation
- Coordination of deliveries
- Conducting meetings, quality control inspections
- Complete project closeout and turnover
- Participate in the submittal, RFI, change order, and shop drawing review processes
- Travel between job sites as needed (various locations throughout Central PA)
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Have strong leadership, team building, and communication skills
- Comfortable using a laptop, computer, smartphone
- Comfortable using Outlook, Excel, Word, and construction-based software such as Procore
- Maintain a current OSHA 10- or 30-hour certification
