Job Summary
Join our Menomonee Falls, WI team of talented Engineers as a Mechanical Engineering Manager. We are looking for an engaged, hands on leader to manage a team of Mechanical Engineers involved in the design, fabrication, and modification of mechanical and electro-mechanical components and systems for Navy ships and applications.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for supervising a team of engineers focused on a variety of activities to be completed on time and within budget
- Lead and conduct a team during new design and development with a focus on mechanical analysis for shock and vibration of aluminum and steel structures, thermal studies, fluid systems, electronic packaging, and model-based engineering
- Evaluate and recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products or services
- Investigate solutions to product or process problems
- Manage budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments
- Participate in preparation of proposals
