Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for our Goleta, CA facility. The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for directing the technical activities for the analysis, design, development, and implementation of new systems / sub-systems and leading a cross-functional multi-location technical team to meet program technical performance objectives. In addition, the candidate shall demonstrate consistently good judgment combined with technical expertise and to communicate effectively with engineering and management stakeholders. Involved with the analysis, design, development and implementation of new and / or existing systems / sub-systems. May include Architectural Design, Requirements Engineering, or others. Support acquisition of hardware and software (or subcontractor services as needed) Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems May use computer-aided engineering or other design / analysis software in the performance of assignments.
