Summary :
The System Safety Engineer performs RAMS deliverables including Functional Hazard Assessments, System Safety Assessments, preliminary System Assessments, Design Assessments, FMEA / FMECA, Aircraft level safety documents for Leonardo Helicopters US products.
Responsibilities :
- Create, evaluate and perform RAMS ( Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) Deliverables including FHA, FMEA / FMECA, FTAs, CCAs, SSAs and DAs;
- Assure RAMS requirements integration into the overall design, development and certification process of the aircraft;
- Work with Systems Engineering group to identify and verify compliance with system safety requirements;
- Implement and maintain system safety process and deliver the required output data to the agreed schedule;
- Review system safety supplier documentation.
