The Certified Public Accounting firm of Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, PA is hiring an Experienced Accountant to work in our North Conway, New Hampshire office.

Responsibilities Include:
- Tax planning, review, and return preparation for individuals, businesses, nonprofits, partnerships, and trusts
- Manage audits, reviews, and compilations; review and prepare financial statements
- Work with a diverse portfolio of clients from a variety of industries including closely-held, family-owned businesses, hospitality, manufacturing, affordable housing and more
- Contribute to fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration to achieve client and firm goals
- Coach and mentor staff members, ensuring their professional growth and development
- Knowledge/compliance with pronouncements of the FASB, AICPA, GAO, and GASB, as well as the latest tax laws, regulations, and guidance
- Ability to work on multiple projects/engagements at the same time
- A demonstrated ability to work and communicate with clients and colleagues, building strong professional relationships and providing exceptional service
- Ability to identify challenges and implement solutions
- Stay current on Firm policies, procedures, and the AICPA and state CPA society’s rules, regulations, and Code of Conduct
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a concentration in accounting.
- 6 years of related experience with a public accounting firm
- Licensed CPA
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills with experience managing a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills (timely, effective, complete)
- Ability to work independently or in team setting on complex assignments and projects
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge, proficiency and aptitude for applicable software and firm technology (CCH Axcess or other software), including QuickBooks, Microsoft Office applications.
