Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forman to oversee construction projects and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and a commitment to safety. This role requires effective communication with team members, subcontractors, and clients while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise construction teams on-site to ensure project goals are met.
• Coordinate daily activities and manage workflow to maintain project schedules.
• Interpret blueprints and project specifications to guide construction efforts.
• Utilize construction management software for project tracking and reporting.
• Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers on construction estimating and budgeting.
• Schedule resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations.
• Address any issues or conflicts that arise on the construction site promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel.

Pay: $30.00 - $70.00 per hour
