What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler/Forklift Operator position at Leonhardt Manufacturing Co., Inc.?
Leonhardt Manufacturing is looking to fill a 1st shift Material Handler / Forklift Operator position (M-TH 6AM-4 : 30PM). The Forklift Operator is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, delivering materials / products to operators, storage of those materials / products and verifying the material / product received is correct.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
- Performs daily inspection of forklift and equipment
- Loads and unloads trucks
- Assists drivers when needed
- Ability to verify paperwork and box or carton count, reports discrepancies or defects, completes paperwork of material / product coming in the facility
- Physically moves material / product to designated areas
- Performs cycle counts of inventory
- Scans parts into manufacturing system
