What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ice Cream Production Staff position at Leopold's Ice Cream?
Ice Cream Production
This is an open position in our ice cream room. It will involve helping the ice cream makers and comes with the opportunity to learn how to make ice cream.
We manufacture a ready to eat product so cleanliness, sanitation, and tracking ingredients are the top priority along with producing a top tier product.
Must be able to work in a cold environment daily. You will be working in a cooled room and you will be making trips into a freezer to retrieve ingredients and put away ice cream.
Must be able to stand for 6 hours a day, and lift 50 pounds regularly.
Must be able to complete paperwork regarding raw goods used, finished goods completed, and absolutely must keep the ingredient tracking information accurate.
You may be asked to help with cleaning, prep, kitchen work, shipping, packaging, etc.
Must be reliable and be a team player.
Absolutely must take pride in your work. We make a premium product and keep standards high.
Hours are Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
