This opportunity is available only for students currently enrolled in a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program.
We do have shadow days available for undergraduate students.

About Us
LePar Animal Hospital is a privately owned, well-established & modern 9 doctor practice offering alternative services in addition to progressive conventional medicine. Our full-service small animal hospital offers digital radiography, digital dental radiography, digital ultrasound, in house chemistry and CBC analyzers, on-site chemotherapy services, and orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, as well as acupuncture, chiropractic care, and on-site stem cell and PRP therapy. Our extensive equipment list includes LigaSure vessel sealing system, plasma sterilizer, sterile cautery, SmartFlow patient management system, Vet-Tome extraction system, all digital imaging, oxygen cage and oxygen generator, Cubex dispensing cabinet, doppler, and more.

As an extern with us at LePar, get ready for an immersive experience that goes beyond just shadowing. You'll be side by side with our team of doctors, actively participating in a variety of cases from routine check ups to more intricate cases, whether it's assisting in surgeries, conducting exams, or collaborating on treatment plans. Expect to engage in discussion, ask questions, and get real-world insights from our seasoned vets with a combined 76 years of experience!
