Job Summary
The Sous Chef is responsible for supervising back-of-house operations and ensuring exceptional quality in every dish. This role combines leadership, culinary skills, and organizational expertise to maintain a high-functioning kitchen that exceeds guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence :
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the back-of-house and the entire venue.
- Supervise preparation for regular service, catering, take-out, and events.
- Ensure recipe accuracy, food safety, and adherence to Department of Health standards.
- Manage kitchen inventory, purchasing, and operational systems, including payroll.
- Ensure all equipment and systems are in good working order and compliant with regulations.
- Develop and implement opening and closing procedures for seamless operations.
