Lepley Recruiting Services is partnering with a leading resource for news and information in the floor covering industry to help fill an Advertising Sales Manager. We are seeking someone highly motivated to manage existing client base as well as generate new advertising sales for print and on-line ad sales. Candidates should be entrepreneurial in spirit, intelligent, and possess a driven desire to succeed.
Responsibilities include:
- Formulating a planned sales strategy for each advertiser and prospect.
- Meeting with advertisers, prospects and ad agencies to learn about their marketing goals, strategies and objectives, as well as demonstrate how the magazine's readership and integrated media opportunities can help accomplish those objectives.
- Consistently developing new accounts and follow up on leads.
- Creating customized presentations to fit a consultative sales approach.
- The ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.
- Developing an understanding of the flooring marketplace/market share and competitors' strengths and weaknesses and using the information to articulate Floor Focus's competitive advantage with prospective advertisers.
- Gathering and reporting of client/prospect information to provide Publisher with summary analyses to predict sales potential and market conditions.
- Traveling to visit clients and prospective clients and attending industry trade shows.
Minimum Qualifications:
5 Years of Sales experience
Bachelor’s Degree
