The Vehicle and Propulsion Controls organization (PVPC) is the "brain” of the Propulsion Systems division aimed at translating Performance and Functional Objectives into Controls features implemented in the embedded SW.
The PVPC organization scope spans the V development cycle with the following core missions:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the global planning, execution and programs coordination of the Controls and SW platform solution for Engines / Transmissions / Hybrid / Battery / Charging / eMotor Electronic Control Units.

- translate system specifications and objectives into requirements
- distribute control functions and networking strategies
- implement core functions and diagnostics algorithm design
- validate the functions to requirements

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the global planning, execution and programs coordination of the Controls and SW platform solution for Engines / Transmissions / Hybrid / Battery / Charging / eMotor Electronic Control Units.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Providing Feasibility and cost assessment for Controls & SW to the vehicle/programs.
- Representing the Controls System (Controllers and SW) vs the Propulsion System Community as primary interface.
- Coordinating Controls Features development.
- Defining Feature Roll-out Plan (What and When) that aligns to over all program milestones and objectives.
- Playing a key role in the Controls & SW change Management, Quality assessment and Risk mitigation.
- As you will be working on Complex Systems, it is essential the successful candidate can show a proven record of working on his/her own initiative and within a team delivering high quality and robust technical solutions
- Bachelor/Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience (5 years in automotive)
- Ability to work in an Agile environment
- Previous experience as Controls/SW developer, testing or calibration engineer will be considered a plus
- Fluent English
- Be proactive, take ownership and be accountable
- Onsite anywhere from 3-5 days per week.
- No Driving a customer vehicle is required .
