Our team is seeking an experienced Engine OBD Calibration Engineer to manage all technical aspects of the OBD diagnostic calibrations to meet CARB regulations. The candidate will identify system requirements during system hardware design to ensure a robust diagnostic system.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Manage all technical aspects of the OBD diagnostic calibrations
- Identify system requirements during system hardware design
- Use standard instrumentation toolsets for data acquisition, storage, and analysis
- Utilize industry-standard calibration tools such as ETAS INCA, MatLab, and CANalyzer
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from an ABET-accredited university
- Fundamental knowledge in MatLab/Simulink
- 2 years of experience in engine development, powertrain systems development/engine calibration/control systems development/diagnostics within the automotive industry
- Proficiency in MatLab/Simulink
