About the Role:

As a Reflash Technician, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for the reflash of instrument clusters and providing critical support to our product development initiatives. Your role will involve working directly with cutting-edge automotive technology at customer sites, performing diagnostics, and collecting vital data for our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reflash Instrument Clusters: Perform reflash procedures on electronic modules (Digital Instrument Clusters/displays) at customer locations.
• Vehicle Level Testing: Conduct testing on electronic modules to ensure the performance and reliability of the instrument clusters.
• Data Collection & Analysis: Collect CAN Logs, bus queries, and health monitor data from fleet vehicles, compiling findings and collaborating with Application Engineers.
• Collaboration with Product Development Team: Support the Product Development team on-site at motorsports organizations, assisting with product testing and development.
• Test Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all test results and share findings with the engineering department.
• Customer Liaison: Work with customers to schedule vehicles for testing, ensuring smooth communication and coordination for successful test execution.
• On-Site Plant Support: Provide hands-on support for vehicle builds and testing at customer proving grounds and plant locations.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Associate Degree in Electronics (or equivalent experience).
• Preferred: Focus in Automotive/Motorcycle Electronics and Infotainment is a plus.
• Experience: Ideal for junior-level candidates (0-2 years of experience). A willingness to learn and a passion for working hands-on with automotive technology is key.

Preferred Skillset & Qualifications:

• Automotive Industry Experience: Previous experience in automotive component/system testing, preferably with an OEM or Tier One supplier, is highly desirable.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive communication protocols, such as CAN, LAN, OBD, and technologies like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, Audio, Wi-Fi.
• Diagnostic & Flashing Tools: Experience flashing, testing, and debugging ECUs both on the bench and in-vehicle using CAN Tools.
• Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Excellent Communication: Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and customers.
• Adaptability: Open to working in a fast-paced environment and eager to gain hands-on experience with emerging technologies.
