What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Identification and Assignment Tax Searcher ll position at Lereta?
The Tax Identification and Assignment Tax Searcher II performs and ensures the accurate assignment and maintenance of agency tax identifications (parcel numbers) for each contract (loan) under service in accordance with report processing priorities. The role is responsible for maintaining all primary state training and resource material on SharePoint as changes in agencies, formats, collection and available internet resources occur. The Tax Identification and Assignment Tax Searcher II also acquires tax identifier information to support C-service and delinquency reporting in a timely and accurate manner including those of a complex nature.
Tax Identification Assignment
- Using Tax rolls, assessor's maps, or other indices from contract property addresses / and or legal's, ensures that all tax agencies and tax identification numbers are accurately identified and assigned to new and existing contracts under service based on systems due dates.
- Performs Quality Control (QC) in both Tax Searching Queues and other projects assigned
- Provides guidance to new staff through mentoring as assigned by Supervisor or Manager

Salary range : $18.02 - $24.33
