What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Brand Strategy position at LERMA/?
LERMA / is seeking a director of brand strategy to lead strategy development and growth on key client accounts. The right candidate will have more than seven years of agency experience in brand strategy / account planning / brand planning. This role will report to the brand strategy principal.
NOTE : The right candidate will have an interest in focusing on faith-based / faith-informed work (specifically, work related to the person of Jesus).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct brand strategy and foster growth on client accounts (i.e., on brand and business KPIs and scope)
Oversee and facilitate the brand development process
Lead a team of strategists in consumer research, POVs, insightful creative strategy development, and creative efficacy improvement and brand-building
Collaborate with strategists, brand leadership, creative, media, analytics, and subject matter experts in the development and implementation of strategies
Contribute to the brand strategy department’s thought leadership and insight development
Nurture brand strategy team growth through mentorship and training
REQUIREMENTS
More than seven years of agency experience in brand strategy / brand planning / account planning
A kind person, unafraid of having a divergent point of view (on the work or the world)
A hunger to learn about and experience life from someone else’s perspective (i.e., culture, heritage, geography, etc.)
Able to display a history of winning, insightful strategy development
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to tell a great story
Mastery of primary research methodologies (including quantitative study design and focus group moderation)
Command of the analytical skills needed to tell a story with data
Able to work efficiently and prioritize across multiple projects
Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Represent oneself and the agency professionally in all internal and external communications
Self-motivated but works well with and contributes to an integrated team
Resourceful in problem-solving and troubleshooting
In-office (Dallas, TX) three times per week
