At Les Olson IT, we are looking for an Engineering Manager who will provide leadership, oversee the technical and operational success of our teams, and ensure we deliver top-notch IT solutions and customer service to our customers in Northern Utah. This role blends leadership skills with technical expertise to manage and mentor our engineers while ensuring smooth and efficient branch operations. We are looking for a manager to operate primarily out of our Ogden branch, but to spend roughly 25-30% of their time working out of our Logan branch.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership & Team Management : Lead by example, foster a positive culture, and promote teamwork. Make tough decisions, hold the team accountable, and empower your team to perform at their best.
- Team Development : Mentor your team members, helping them grow their IT skills and supporting their pursuit of IT certifications.
- Performance Management : Ensure your team meets key performance indicators (KPIs), including billable hours, productivity, and SLA compliance.
- Operational Efficiency : Work closely with the Corporate Engineering Manager to optimize resource usage, streamline operations, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Technical Oversight : Oversee large-scale projects, provide technical leadership, and ensure the successful delivery of IT solutions.
- Customer Satisfaction : Ensure excellent customer service by supporting ITEs with customer service requests and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Ticketing & Documentation : Ensure accurate documentation of tickets in the Autotask system and make sure your team provides timely updates and resolution reports.
- On-Call Support : Act as a technical leader during on-call rotations, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
