What we need:
Our Technical Quoting team produces quotes and sources the hardware and software products that our Managed IT Sales team offers to our customers. We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and computer-savvy Technical Quoting Specialist to join this team. This individual will work well under pressure when a request for a quote comes in, taking care to research and draft a quote accurately and for as competitive a price as possible. The ideal candidate will know or become familiar with leading vendors in the IT field and how and where to source this equipment at a competitive price. The ideal candidate will complete this process in a timely way, providing a competitive quote that our IT sales team members can present to the customer. The ideal candidate will also be able to anticipate future needs, ensuring that the company has the right quantity of the right product in the right place at the right time.
What we're looking for:
- Solid customer service abilities including telephone skills
- High degree of comfort using basic Microsoft Office suite and sourcing/entering data accurately
- Experience with computer hardware and/or software a plus, but not required
- Ability to identify different operating systems, software, or products based off descriptions a plus, but not required
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relations among all levels of an organization
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and to operate with changing priorities
- Ability to produce high-quality, accurate work under time pressure
- Ability to: identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully, and; work well in group problem solving situations
- High attention to detail when creating quotes and making purchases
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, apply feedback to improve performance, and monitor own work to ensure quality
- Self-starter with follow-through
- 1 year purchasing experience and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ability to show up on time and looking professional-this position is on-site, not remote
- Ability to pass to random drug tests and a background check

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00 PM With opportunity for occasional overtime
