Who We Are Looking For
- Bachelors degree or 5 years warehouse experience
- Developed management and leadership skills
- Self-starter
- Visionary
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds
- Must be able to pass background check, applicable drug test, and MVR
- Must be a team focused individual with a passion for teaching and coaching
- Excellent communication skills
Primary Responsibilities
- Work as an integral part of the warehouse team, and as day to day leadership for the team
- Contribute and implement ideas to improve and/or optimize warehouse flow and functions and design
- Promote a safe work environment by being the example, reminding, and correcting the team members if unsafe practices are noted
- Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
- Keep the whole team up to date on all applicable trainings
- Teach and demonstrate how to keep up to date inventory to ensure that virtual inventory mirrors physical inventory
- Assist with moving physical inventory and virtual inventory as needed
- Operate forklift to load/unload goods as well as teach team member proper safe driving skills
- Assist with rotating stock and receiving new shipments
- Check receipt of goods registers for the branch warehouse as items are received, match up and enter invoices into receipt of invoice entry
- Create and implement schedules and routes for delivery drivers and coach on proper delivery practices and teach the LOC way of customer service
- Get out and ride with the team on a regular basis to understand the needs of the customers
- Understand and teach the importance of the jobs before and after the goods leave the warehouse
- Work with other departments that rely on the goods to strategize on best practices on handoffs of goods
Job Type: Full-Time, M-F 8am 5pm
