Automotive Brake and Alignment Technician Primary Responsibilities:
- Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system
- Suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
- Testing and installing batteries
- Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies
- Rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding, and/or recalibrating TPMS components
- Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
- Assisting other employees
- Test driving vehicles, and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
- Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
Automotive Brake and Alignment Technician Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- Submit and pass pre-employment Background and Drug Screen (*No THC drug testing)
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment; frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.
Previous experience in the following areas may be helpful: Break and alignment, warehouse, sales, customer service, stocking, automotive, retail, construction, technician, and dealership.
Pay and Benefits:
$16.00 - $23.75
