Export Coordinator- Tank Container
Your Responsibilities
Leading Freight Forwarder / NVOCC / Customs House Broker / Tank Container Operator is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Export Customer Service Representative for our Tank Department in our Houston, TX office.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To :
- Develops and maintains excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Receives, reviews, and processes export documentation for an assigned base of accounts.
- Processes and follows Shipper's Letter of Instructions accurately.
- Arranges, books and confirms cargo space.
- Monitors KPIs and ensures that all processes are attended to within set timelines.
- Advises customers of extra costs, and ensures they are billed promptly, accurately, and fairly.
- Prepares and processes House B / Ls, Master B / Ls, Invoices, Insurance Certificates, Certificates of Origin, Consular Documents and EEIs.
- Processes documents through the appropriate system in a timely manner to ensure compliance with established deadlines.
- Prepares and / or sends advance notification of shipments and documents to banks, shippers, consignees, and destination offices, as required and within established standards.
- Handles AES submissions, as per Government Regulations and Leschaco Company Policy.
- Closes files, creates Freight Invoices and distributes documents in accordance with Shippers Letter of Instruction and in compliance with export standards.
- Advises supervisor of any problems or irregularities discovered within assigned transactions.
