As Roadside Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers during their time of need. You will utilize your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to assist with vehicle issues, making a positive impact on our members' experiences.
Responsibilities
- Respond to roadside assistance requests in a timely manner.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform basic vehicle maintenance and repairs on-site.
- Diagnose vehicle issues using mechanical knowledge and equipment such as ohmmeters.
- Provide jump-starts, tire changes, fuel delivery, and lockout assistance effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the service vehicle.
- Document service calls accurately and report any unusual circumstances or customer feedback.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while on duty.
Experience
- Proven experience or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic vehicle maintenance is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot common vehicle problems.
- Experience using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively under pressure.
- A valid driver’s license is required; additional certifications related to automotive repair are advantageous.
