Job Overview:
Working closely with the EHS/Regulatory Director in managing Leslie’s EHS Program. Responsibilities include but not limited to permit processing, conducting safety and regulatory follow-up activities, managing fire extinguisher service requests and providing administrative support for various departmental tasks. This role requires excellent organizational skills as well as sharp acumen to strategically navigate complex regulatory issues.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the safety email inbox, ensuring prompt, professional responses, and proper handling of all emails for resolution.
• Log inspection reports and initiate follow-up actions.
• Assist with the renewal of city fire and hazardous materials permits.
• Assist with the renewal of Chemical Emergency Response (CER) submissions.
• Process and maintain all permit and inspection-related expenses.
• Assist with Hazardous Materials Management Plans (HMBP) and Hazardous Material Inventory Statements (HMIS) as needed.
• Process fire extinguisher service requests and maintain log.
• Assist with Safety Data Sheet (SDS) updates and retrieval.
• Perform general administrative duties including filing, copying, scanning, and mail.
