Stellar Manufacturing is a contract manufacturer of solid particle products and specializes in chemical processing services such as specialty tableting, compaction granulation, and granular filling. SUMMARY: Responsible for preventative maintenance inside and outside of the building. Responsible for activities such as mowing grass, mulching flower beds, shoveling snow and other routine duties to maintain company grounds.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Changes light bulbs, paints walls, does light plumbing work and power washes tables and concrete floors in the break room and office areas.
- Performs some preventative maintenance activity on building equipment such as simple lubrication and changing filters.
- Mows grass, mulches flower beds, pulls weeds, plants flowers, trims bushes, picks up trash and performs other routine yard work.
- Power washes, does minor roof repairs and does small painting jobs on exterior building surfaces.
- Performs other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year of prior grounds keeping experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Other skills required:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Employee must be able to reach with hands and arms, climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and lift
- Employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Employee may be exposed to various chemicals and weather elements
- Employee must be able to wear a respirator and/or other personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary to reduce exposure
- Employee must be able to work in heat and cold
