Salary Range
$16 - $20 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Banquet Captain to oversee catered events at our premier venues. This is a key position that requires excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the setup, service, and cleanup of banquets and other events
- Schedule and assign banquet service personnel, ensuring adequate staffing for each event
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety standards of the venue
- Train staff on event procedures and expectations
- Interact with clients to respond to special requests or last-minute changes
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in catering or a related field
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
