What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Music Teacher position at Lessons In Your Home?
Teach In-Home, Private Music Lessons with a school RUN by experienced Music Educators, and you’ll see the difference! Lessons In Your Home (LIYH) serves both music teachers and students by curating successful, long-term teaching relationships.
We are seeking degreed and professional musicians to teach Piano, Violin, Guitar, Voice, and/or Drum lessons. We have openings for teachers who teach all Brass, Woodwind, and String instruments if you also teach piano, violin, or guitar. Multi-Instrumental teachers are highly encouraged to apply, especially if piano or violin is one of the instruments you teach.
At LIYH, we teach traditional music lessons (i.e. – we use music notation) through positive reinforcement and goal-oriented lessons. Our school's Core Values revolve around making connections with our students and families that go beyond the music we're teaching. Our teachers are relatable to every type of student, amazing communicators, and part of our close-knit team at Lessons In Your Home.
This position pays $50/hour of teaching time. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Music required. **We make occasional exceptions for experienced teachers who are Music notation-literate at a professional level.
