Responsibilities
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for business-to-business networking to ensure the development and growth of sales through a national dealer organization. This position will support a dealer network responsible for selling Lester’s full line of commercial, equine, suburban and agricultural buildings. The role supports a region encompassing Ohio, Michigan, Indiana along with portions of Pennsylvania, New York, Tennessee and Kentucky.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability to work independently and be the primary representative within the territory.
- Develop a strong working partnership with Lester’s internal resources, management team and subcontractors.
- Ability to partner effectively and provide assistance to dealer team members on sales opportunities.
- Ability to resolve dealer issues.
- Attend various trade shows where Lester participates.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, construction or related field is preferred.
- Previous 3 years of outside sales experience within the construction and/or
- post-frame building experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience showing strong attention to detail and project management.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Computer proficiency and the ability to learn Lester’s pricing software.
- Ability to work remotely within the territory and willingness to travel frequently.
Salary Range
Annual salary of $50,000 to $100,000. This role is a base salary plus sales commission opportunity. This represents a good faith estimate of the current salary range based on the role. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary by individual qualifications including relevant job knowledge, education, skills and experience.
