This position is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings of post frame buildings aligning precisely with customer specifications and industry standards. Buildings range from farm, livestock, equine, hobby and commercial purposes.
- Preparation of construction drawings, shop orders and bill of materials.
- Coordination of scheduling to meet customer, purchasing, manufacturing and construction needs.
- Ideal candidates for our open Architectural Drafter positions will have a degree in Computer Aided Design or Construction-related field, with experience using AutoCAD software.
- 2-3 years of Drafting or work-related experience.
- Experience with Estimating is a plus.
- Excellent attention to technical detail and thoroughness is critical.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Must be highly motivated and the ability to work as a team player.
$20.00 to $25.00 an hour
This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on experience, education and other factors. An employee may be eligible for a retention bonus.
