DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcoming every guest to the lounge area with offer of beverages and by providing drink menus and coasters
Bringing orders to lounge tables and occasionally assist bringing Room Service orders to room
Assisting in serving Lounge guests as business levels require
Answering guest questions and responding to guest requests
Communicating specials and other food options to guests, such as for guests with food allergies or other health preferences
Setup, Cleanup, and Prepare tables and restaurant service area on an ongoing basis and as part of opening and closing duties
Some light equipment maintenance
Clearing and cleaning tables
Carrying dishes to scrape station
Thanking guests for their visit and encouraging them to return to the hotel
Serving drinks to multiple tables during events
Accurately tracking and reporting tab, ticket, and tip amounts
Resolving occasional guest complaints with appropriate guest recovery actions
Check I.D. of every guest ordering alcohol
Assisting with inventory and presentation of beverages and bottles
Other duties as-assigned

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Previous food & beverage or bar tending experience is ideal. However, thorough training may be provided for outstanding candidates who lack previous professional experience
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including but not limited to bar tending for on and off-site catering and holiday events
