POSITION: As a Contractor Salesperson, they will be responsible for cultivating and securing business within the assigned territory. We are looking for someone who will regularly visit commercial, industrial, and residential electrical contractors as well as distributor partners to promote Lester Sales’ manufacturer’s products and solutions. This person will also develop and maintain relationships with specifiers to expedite the flow of project business. They will need to build and maintain meaningful relationships with vendor partners, our industry customers as well as be an integral part of the Lester Sales culture.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Be effective at creating new, profitable opportunities and understanding the importance of finding new business.
- Be humble in their approach, yet relentless in their efforts to achieve their goals.
- Establish and nurture relationships with vendor’s key personnel.
- Collaborate with other Lester Salespeople in the territory to manage customer and vendor relationships, secure orders and cooperate with post-sales support to resolve issues.
- Have the ability to absorb information around a vast number of products, services and applications.
- Be willing and able to follow a proven sales process that may appear non-traditional.
- Stay informed about competitive products and services.
- Utilize technology to their advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must live in the territory for which you are applying.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Five years of experience in a customer-facing sales role (business to business)
- Good driving record, able to meet Lester Sales driving qualifications.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
