Position overview:
The Cashier primary responsibility is to ensure every guest leaves with a positive impression. Whether it's facilitating a smooth
checkout process, offering assistance, or ensuring accuracy in transactions, your role is pivotal in shaping guests' experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service during checkout interactions.
- Cultivate a welcoming and enjoyable guest experience.
- Engage with patrons to facilitate seamless transactions.
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards within the store environment.
Additional Duties:
- Address guest inquiries and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Assist kitchen staff and accurately bag items for customers.
- Manage cash register operations, including payments and storage.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in computer usage, preferably with experience in Toast POS system.
- Familiarity with common restaurant technologies, such as smartphones and tablets.
- Ability to obtain relevant sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.
- Previous experience in restaurants, hospitality, or related industries.
- Prior cashier, sales, or hospitality associate experience.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and promote products based on guest preferences.
