Job Summary :
We are looking for a Class B CDL Driver to join our team for equipment delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting event-related equipment to and from various locations, ensuring everything is delivered safely and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a clean driving record, and experience in operating commercial vehicles for delivery purposes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive a Class B commercial vehicle to deliver event equipment to designated locations.
- Ensure safe loading and unloading of equipment, securing items appropriately to prevent damage.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage, fuel usage, and any maintenance needs.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure a safe delivery process.
- Communicate effectively with event coordinators and clients to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues.
- Ensure that the vehicle remains clean and in good working order.
- Report any accidents, vehicle damage, or issues immediately to the management team.
