We are seeking an experienced Floor Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone skilled in professional floor care, including tile stripping and refinishing, carpet extraction, and high-speed burnishing. The position offers flexible scheduling and is perfect as a moonlighting gig for someone with a full-time day job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform floor maintenance tasks, including stripping and refinishing tile flooring.
- Operate and maintain specialized floor care equipment, such as:
- Propane-powered high-speed burnishers
- Clarke 20-inch side-by-side floor scrubbers
- Portable carpet and suitcase extractors
- Ensure all floor care work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Transport company-provided equipment and products to job sites using a company van.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company procedures while working across multiple locations.
Requirements:
- 1 year of professional floor care experience (Required).
- Proficiency in operating floor maintenance equipment.
- Valid Oregon Driver’s License (Required) – employee must drive a company vehicle to job sites.
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends as needed.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and strong time management skills.
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Part-time position, with hours varying from as little as 3 hours per week to up to 15-20 hours per week, depending on workload.
- 90% of shifts occur after 7 PM or on weekends.

- Work is performed across multiple locations, with employees reporting to the Milwaukie office before heading to job sites.
