ROLE
The F&B Manager is primarily responsible for managing the food and beverage outlets of ASC Operations. This position will work closely with the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage and the Director of Food and Beverage to ensure the standards of service and safety guidelines are met as well as perform other job tasks as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for hiring decisions and can impact the employment of employees
- Managing food and beverage operations within budget and to the highest standards
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Ability to respectfully manage employees in all food and beverage outlets
- Oversee all front and back of the house restaurant operations in Village Café, Arturo’s, 17 South, and Pool Bars
- The F&B Manager will work in liaison with other managers, and their direct supervisors, to manage cooking, wait and bartending staff
- The Food & Beverage Manager will complete scheduled inventories and reporting re-order needs to the appropriate parties
- The F&B Manager is responsible for preparing the employee schedule; scheduling is to be done in accordance to business needs and budget
- As the F&B Manager, you are required to ensure the operations are compliant with federal, state, and local food sanitation and safety regulations, gaming and Alcohol Awareness guidelines. You must be knowledgeable about the most updated laws and guidelines and are responsible for communicating such information to staff.
- The F&B Manager will assist in interviewing, hiring, and training personnel, as well as inspecting kitchen and bar equipment to hold staff accountable for food sanitation and safety regulations
- The F&B Manager will assist in creating and training staff on cash handling procedures in accordance with accounting and company policies. This includes but is not limited to managing the proper use of POS system, pay methods, promotions and approvals. Additionally, the F&B Manager is required to assist in reconciliation of cash banks and securing bank and related reports and documentation.
- The F&B Manager will work with ASC Accounting to secure gaming drops and ensure proper gaming policies are being used under direction from their supervisor
- Properly handle guest’s complaints and finalize recoveries
- Create and collaborate within the food and beverage team to implement new ideas
- Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance with departmental policies and standards of service procedures
- Monitor and ensure completion of F&B equipment work orders, administer all maintenance projects and communicate with engineering staff for all repairs to ensure project completion
- Analyze staff evaluations and feedback to improve the customer’s experience
- Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff
- Be a safety ambassador to the F&B team by following all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure employee uniform and personal appearances are professional and up to the standard of the brand
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the Assistant Director of F&B and the Director of F&B
