Job Description:
Sales Support Specialists play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the sales process by providing administrative support, managing customer accounts, and collaborating with internal teams
provide essential support for the sales team. They will assist the account executives with CRM management, quote generation, and customer service to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction while striving for sales targets. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the Sales Operations Manager.
Accountabilities:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of Level 3's organizational structure, sales offerings, and begin to understand industry trends.
- Partner with account executives to provide comprehensive assistance to managing administrative tasks which include, but are not limited to:
- Finalize quotes and proposals for client submission, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and pricing guidelines.
- Virtually attend product trainings to stay up-to-date on vendor offerings.
- Perform thorough pricing reviews to ensure competitive pricing strategies and profitability while meeting client needs.
- Virtually attend client meetings to provide support, gather feedback, and address any concerns or questions raised during the meeting.
- Generate quotes for box sales, considering client requirements, pricing guidelines, and profitability targets.
- Help maintain and update customer records in the CRM system.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to streamline processes and improve communication.
- Handle customer inquiries, providing prompt and professional responses to support sales efforts.
- Assist in maintaining product pricing, databases, and sales documentation.
- Attend weekly, monthly, and quarterly team meetings to stay informed and contribute to team goals.
- Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support the sales team and company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively while paying strict attention to detail
- High proficiency in Windows, MS Office with an emphasis on Excel, MS Teams
- Strong video, phone, and in-person professionality
- Understanding of sales pipeline management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience Requirements:
- 3 years of direct sales and/or administrative experience
Training / Certification / Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or combination of comparable education and relative experience
- Industry and/or administrative certifications preferred
