Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to guide and support our product development teams in implementing and optimizing Agile practices. This role requires a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent coaching skills, and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Agile Coach will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective adoption of Agile principles and practices, enhancing team performance and delivering high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
- Agile Adoption : Guide development teams in adopting Agile methodologies, fostering an environment of collaboration, transparency, self-organization, and continuous improvement.
- Coaching and Mentoring : Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to Product Owners, Engineering managers, individual team members, and development teams, helping them understand and apply Agile principles effectively.
- Training : Develop and deliver training programs and workshops on Agile methodologies, tools, and best practices to teams and stakeholders to enhance the understanding and adoption of Agile practices.
- Facilitation : Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensure they are productive and aligned with Agile best practices. Foster an environment that encourages open communication and team collaboration.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify areas for improvement and work with teams to implement changes that enhance productivity, innovation, and overall efficiency. Use data and metrics to monitor progress, drive insights, and facilitate discussions that foster continuous improvement.
- Conflict Resolution : Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise within Agile teams, promoting a healthy and productive work environment.
- Collaboration : Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including product management, engineering, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support for Agile initiatives.
- Team Formation & Development : Help build and evolve Agile teams, guiding them through team formation stages and ensuring the team develops over time into a high-performing unit.
- Promote Innovation & Creativity : Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging experimentation, risk-taking, and learning from mistakes. Cultivate curiosity within teams by asking insightful questions and empowering teams to find solutions.
Qualifications
Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
